Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you encounter problems while using Downloadgram, check the solutions below for the most common issues. Most problems can be resolved by verifying the URL and ensuring the content is publicly accessible.
The download button does not appear after pasting the URL
Make sure you copied the complete Instagram URL. A valid URL should start with instagram.com or www.instagram.com and include the post identifier (e.g., /p/ABC123 or /reel/ABC123). Try refreshing the page, clearing the input field, and pasting the URL again. If the problem persists, the post may have been deleted or the account switched to private.
Downloaded photo or video appears in low quality
iGram downloads content at the highest quality Instagram provides. If the result appears low quality, the creator may have uploaded it at a lower resolution. For videos, check if multiple quality options are offered and select the highest one. Note that Instagram applies its own compression to uploads, which can affect the final quality.
Error message saying the content is unavailable
This usually means the post has been removed by the creator, the account has been set to private, or Instagram has restricted access to the content. Verify that the post is still publicly visible by opening the URL in a browser without being logged in. If you can see the post on Instagram but it fails on iGram, try again after a few minutes.
Carousel post only shows one image
Make sure you are using the main post URL rather than a direct link to a single image within the carousel. The URL should follow the format instagram.com/p/CODE without additional parameters. iGram will detect the carousel and display all slides for individual download.
Download works on desktop but not on mobile
Some mobile browsers handle file downloads differently. On iPhone, make sure you are using Safari and that the downloaded file is accessible through the Files app. On Android, check your Downloads folder or notification panel. If the browser blocks the download, try switching to Chrome or Firefox.
Supported Instagram URL Formats
iGram accepts several Instagram URL formats. Here are examples of URLs that work with Downloadgram: post URLs (instagram.com/p/CODE), Reel URLs (instagram.com/reel/CODE), and shared links copied from the Instagram app. Make sure the URL contains the full path including the content identifier. Shortened URLs from Instagram's share feature are also supported.
